Green County Youth
The youth of Green County is the future!
We hope to help create opportunities and be an asset to them in their journey through the beef project and as young producers.
Graduates Only!
If you are a beef exhibitor that has graduated high school and are enrolled in secondary education, you are eligible. Selection is based on involvement in the beef industry and the Green County Beef Producers organization.
Please download the application from the UW extension office and mail it in to our PO box.
Scholarships are awarded at our annual banquet following the completion of your first semester of secondary education.
1 Year Exhibitor Program
Our first year exhibitor program helps youth looking to get involved in the beef project financially. We help you source a steer for your beef project from a Green County Beef Producer who will coach you on how to feed and care for your animal to be ready for the Green County Fair. After the completion of the fair, you will receive a check from the Green County Beef Producers to assist with your expenses from raising your animal.

Clinics
We offer various clinics throughout the year. A Nutrition clinic is hosted following the winter following the steer weigh in. A showmanship clinic is offered at the Green County Fair.
